Stylish Star Allu Arjun's much awaited mass entertainer Julayi, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is a blend of all that you call masala elements like good music, dance, comedy, action and beautiful locations and costumes. Allu Arjun's performance, Arjun-Ileana's onscreen chemistry, Devi Sri Prasad's music, Brahmanandham-Hema's comedy, Trvikram's direction and dialogues and Peter Hein's stunts are all magnificent, but what if the film has a weak storyline? However, Julayi will be a good time pass for your family this weekend!
The film revolves around a middle class guy Ravindra Narayan (Allu Arjun) who believes in making quick money. But he never resorts to illegal activities. One day, Ravindra comes in the way of Bittu (Sonu Sood), who plans a bank robbery.

When he gets the information, he informs police commissioner Manikyam (Rao Ramesh) and gets Bittu caught. In the process, Bittu's brother Lala (Shafi) gets killed and a furious Bittu swears to take revenge on Ravindra. Manikyam packs off Ravindra secretly to Hyderabad, where he meets Madhu (Ileana) and falls in love with her. The plot takes a twist when Bittu is released from jail.

Allu Arjun delivers an outstanding performance in Julayi and he looks energetic in dance and action sequences. He is the main attraction of the film without doubt. Ileana adds to the glamour quotient while Sonu Sood's villainy is appealing and energetic. Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana and Tanikella Bharani impress with praiseworthy comic timing. Sonu Sood, Rajendra Prasad and Kota Sreenivasarao have also delivered excellent acting for their respective role.

Devi Sri Prasad has given foot tapping beats and his compositions like 'O Madhu', 'Pakado Pakado' and 'Julayi' are sure to rock the audience. The cinematography of Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu in song sequence is simply superb. Prawin Pudi's editing is also commendable. Trivikram's dialogues are excellent. First half of the movie is interesting; it goes in a jiffy and is funny. Second half is a big letdown. Overall, Julayi caters to all ages and watch it for its witty dialogues and some action!
