<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Director Gunashekhar and producer Y.V.S. Chowdhary were actor Ravi Teja's roommates during their early days in Chennai and for the first time in their career, the trio joins hands to make a film Nippu, which has been riding on high expectations around the film circles. <a name="more"></a> The film revolves around Surya (Ravi Teja) and his close friend Sriram (Sriram), who have migrated to Saudi Arabia. Sriram faces death sentence in Saudi Arabia as it is believed that he has killed his lover Vaishnavi (Bhavana). But the fact is Vaishnavi accidentally dies by falling from the roof top. Sriram can be saved only if his dead girlfriend's parents forgive him and sign the mercy petition. This becomes Surya's goal. Vaishnavi is the daughter of Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawat), who hates Sriram for some reasons. Surya knows that it is difficult to get papers signed from Raja Goud. How Surya manages to get the signs forms the rest of the film. Ravi Teja's films are neither pretentious nor have any semblance of a convincing storyline! But they are just mass entertainers. His sole strength is that he can excel in dialogue delivery, dance and fight scenes. But lately his formula has not been appealing to the audiences and Nippu is one more addition to the list of mediocre films from Ravi Teja. As usual Ravi Teja is best in comedy and action sequences. Deeksha Seth is cute, but has nothing much to do. Pradeep Rawat and Mukul Dev's performance are on expected lines, however, Brahmanandam excels in a few comedy sequences. Talented artists like Rajendra Prasad and Sriram have little opportunities in the film. S.S. Thaman's music is also ordinary. Camera work is good. It is surprising that Gunashekhar, who did some brilliant films like Okkudu, has written a weak script like Nippu. The narration in the first half is dull, but the second half generates some interest only to nose-dive in the climax. This is perhaps the weakest film from Gunasekhar. All in all, Nippu fails to appeal as it does not have a good script! </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">We’ve all come across that corny Valentine’s Day greeting card that says, ‘I’m not perfect. You’re not perfect. But we are PERFECT for each other!’ Corny as it is, it never fails to bring on that dreamy smile. We humans are obsessed with perfection. We seek it in everything, forgetting the moth bites in our own ‘perfect’ life. So what is the perfect love story? Which couple is truly ‘made for each other’? Can you work out a tabular column and figure out the best combination? No way! Forever we shall be hopelessly in love, no matter how much it hurts! That’s pretty much the premise of director Balaji Mohan’s maiden directorial venture Love Failure (Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi in Tamil). Arun is your average college dude, with the perfect mom and dad. Paaru(short for Parvathi) is your average college girl from a broken family. Their first meeting is no dream date, but one thing leads to another and the two fall in love. Their romance is no bed of roses and petty fights ultimately, lead to a break-up. Of course, they get back together, but how and what lessons are learnt enroute, makes up the narrative. The story is simple enough, it’s the telling and the characters woven into this fabric that make the big difference. When you look at the trailer, you know it’s going to be a quirky rom-com. But we, the Tamil audience, have never really dealt with a protagonist talking straight at us through the camera. If you are worried it’s going to be all preachy, then worry no more. It’s far from it. From take one Arun comes clean with us: he does not know how to make a relationship work, but he has sure identified the small mistakes that we make along the way. Siddharth and Amala Paul, do their bit well. But it’s the characters that course through their romance, that make the biggest impact. <a name="more"></a> Shiva, Arun’s no good, meddlesome buddy stands out and apart. His character brings on the laughter by just being in the shot! From his funny punch lines, brainless love-gyaan to his body language, this guy just steals the show. It’s no wonder, he’s got the audience hooting all along. Then there’s Vignesh, the hopeless one-sided lover. Together Shiva and Vignesh, have us in splits. Ignoring Arun’s worldly wisdom on romance and heartbreak, Vignesh follows all of Shiva’s silly ideas to impress a junior in college, and of course he makes quite a fool of himself. These actors who were part of Balaji Mohan’s short-film that formed the foundation for this film, surely deserve the applause they are receiving. The other love track in the film, is a triangular plot between Cathy, John and Rama: Rama being Cathy’s ex, John being her fiancé. Rama’s sly plan to break-up the happy couple, reiterates the oft spoken theme of trust in a relationship. And yes, what is Arun doing in the middle of all of this? He is learning and unlearning the dynamics of falling and staying in love. But by far the best love story in Love Failure is the romance between Paaru’s parents. Their’s is a love marriage gone sour, that goes all the way to divorce papers. But how they rediscover their love and rekindle the romance, and hence save their marriage is the most touching strain in this lovely symphony. Actor Suresh, is simply brilliant as the unemployed husband as he is charming when he tries to win back his wife. So when it comes to striking a chord, well Love Failure succeeds from start to end. The movie has got the audience laughing, clapping and silent at all the right places. Balaji has managed to keep the audience engaged with a story that lacks two basic commercial ingredients: glamour and action! So kudos to that. On the technical side, well when Nirav Shah is your lensman, why worry at all? In a rom-com such as this, natural is the way and Nirav delivers on target. Thaman’s background score is good. It keeps with the pace and the style of the film – quirky and light. The songs may not be chartbusters, but they are situational numbers and in the context of the film, they work. Ilayaraja’s contribution towards the climax, goes to say that when you’re making a romance even in the 2000s, his love songs from the 80s still have that magic! </div>

Almost every parent in the country wants their child to be a doctor, engineer or a management graduate, but in this competitive scenario we somehow forget about the child's dream or interest; this is the basic crux of National award winning actor Prakashraj's second directorial venture Dhoni, which features himself and Puri Jagannath's son Akash in a prominent role. The film is produced by Prakashraj under his home banner Duet Movies. The script was written by Prakashraj himself and the cast include Radhika Apte, Bahmanandam, Nasser and Thalaivasal Vijay. While Ilaaiyaraaja scores music, K.V. Guhan handles choreography. The film is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. <a name="more"></a> What is it about? It illustrates the conflict of interests of a father and his son. The father, played by Prakashraj, wants his son, to study MBA, but his son is more interested in sports and wants to become a famous cricketer like Mahendra Singh Dhoni. And that leads to a series of troubles in their life. The Plot Karthick (Akash) is an average student; he hates two things in this world, Maths and Physics. Karthick's father Subramanian (Prakashraj), a widower, is a government employee but to make both the ends meet he also does pickle business. Karthick is an aspiring cricketer and his only aim in life is to become a great batsman like Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But Karthick's father has different dreams, he wants his son to do MBA. And the conflict begins... Subramanian fails to realise his son's extraordinary talent in cricket, like millions of other parents, he also thinks that a child's future will depend on his mark sheet rather than his ability or skills. And then there comes a time when the father does something which makes him repent his actions forever! What and how? You will have to watch Dhoni to know more... The Performance & Techniques As usual Prakashraj is mind blowing; the insecurity of a middle class father, his actions, the financial crisis in a middle class family, present schooling systems have been well portrayed by the veteran. Apart from playing a powerful role, Prakashraj has also penned the story and screenplay for this film. Prakashraj has done a remarkable job especially in the scene where he talks about the present education system in a debate show. However the climax is a bit over the top and could have been toned a little. Slow pace seems to be another culprit here and a slight tweaking is needed urgently. The film is an eye opener to teachers as well as parents but at times we feel that parents are criticized too much. Maestro Ilayaraaja's songs are average and the background scores gels well with the story. Among the star cast Tollywood director Puri Jagannath's son Akash comes out with flying colours; indeed a perfect choice. Prabhu Deva's special appearance (in a song) was an unwanted intrusion while Radhika Apte (look alike of Aishwarya Rai) has given a good performance. The child artist enacting the role of Prakashraj's daughter is first rate while veterans Brahmanandam, Nassar and Thalaivasal Vijay have done their part well. Dhoni might not have all the elements needed for a commercial entertainer but it has a solid message which will definitely make you think. So 17*8=??? Watch Dhoni, you will get the answer! </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">All Manchu Manoj's films are different in terms of their novel subjects and the way Manoj chooses and handles the character! This time, he is back with another refreshing film Mr. Nookayya, directed by Ani Kanneganti and produced by D.S. Rao with Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan as the heroines. The film revolves around an orphan and mobile phone thief Nookayya (Manoj), who has a strange habit to chat with the owners of the phones he steals and in this way; he makes friendship with a bank employee Anuradha (Kriti Karbanda) and a bargirl Silpa (Sana Khan) with whom he falls in love. Nampally (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) and Chee Chaa (Vennela Kishore) are his friends. At one point, he decides to settle down in life by stealing a huge sum. <a name="more"></a> Meanwhile, Anuradha's husband Kiran (Raja) is kidnapped by a gang led by Shajahan (Murali Sharma) and she gets an MMS from the kidnappers, demanding a huge ransom to release of her hubby. The helpless woman steals Rs. 2 crores from her bank, which is later stolen by Nookayya. He takes the money to Shilpa, but Shilpa and his friend Chaa Chaa escape with the money. Accidentally, Nookayya meets Anuradha and comes to know her situation that she stole the money to save her husband. The kind hearted Nookayya realises his mistake and decide to rescue her husband. What happens next is the crux of the story. Manoj has given an excellent performance all through the film and his action sequences are superb. Notably, the film has several risky shots in the action scenes and they were choreographed by Manoj himself. His composition 'Pista Pista' is also commendable. Kriti Kharbanda is pretty and Sana Khan is hot. Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Parachuri Venkateswara Rao, Ahuti Prasad, Raja and others lived up to the expectations. The film's story has some novelty, but the treatment is jaded. The director should have worked more on the screenplay to avoid loopholes. Yuvanshankar Raja used most of his compositions from some of his Tamil films and they are good. The action sequences especially the chase sequences were choreographed by Manoj and they keep you on the edge of the seat. Rajasekhar's cinematography is extraordinary and he has perfectly shot all action scenes and songs. The first half is dragging and not up to the mark. The second half too starts on a dull note, but later it picks up towards the climax. All in all, if the screenplay was written properly, Mr. Nookayya could have been even better. </div>

After acting in some Telugu films and a Hindi film, he is back with Naa Ishtam, a romantic comedy directed by Prakash Toleti and produced by Prachuri Keerti under the banner of United Movies. This is Rana's first commercial film. Set in a backdrop of Malaysia, Naa Ishtam revolves around a practical, young event manager Ganesh (Daggubati Rana), who gives supreme importance to money. One day, he meets Krishnaveni (Genelia) at a temple where she is waiting for her fiancé Kishore (Harshvardhan Rane) to show up. In fact, Krishnaveni is a runaway from home and she eloped to Malaysia to get married with Kishore as her father (Nassar) was against their affair. To her surprise, Kishore fails to turn up. Krishnaveni is shocked, but Ganesh comes to her help. <a name="more"></a> Slowly, she becomes a financial burden for Ganesh. When he learns about her story, Genesh takes her to India and hands her over to her father, expecting a reward promised by her father. Soon, Ganesh realizes that her father is wicked and is forcing her to marry another guy. Then, he rescues her and brings her back to Malaysia. In the process, Ganesh predictably falls in love with her. But all of a sudden, Kishore turns up and asks for Krishnaveni. What happens next forms the rest of the film. Rana is apt for the role of a young, practical guy and is impressive at comedy, dance and fights scenes. However, he needs to improve his diction and mannerism. Genelia is gorgeous and she has done a good job within the limits as the actress hasn’t had much to perform. Nassar is good as usual and others fit in their respective roles well. Coming to the technical aspects of the film, direction, screenplay, music and editing could have been even better. Cinematographer Venkat Prasad did a decent job, but failed to some extent to convince the audience that the story takes place in Malaysia. The music by Chakri ranges from average to good. Naa Ishtam has a decent storyline, but it suffers from the poor screenplay and weak direction. On the whole, Naa Ishtam disappoints and watch it for Rana and Genelia! </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Expectations on Ram Charan Teja's Racha (also spelt Rachcha), directed by Sampath Nandi under the banner of Mega Super Good Films, were pretty high, since the film was touted to be the young actor's comeback film to mass entertainers in the backdrop of his unanticipated debacle Orange. Besides, the canvas was larger than life and there was no budget constraint for Racha. But does the film live up to the expectations? Let's see! The film revolves around Betting Raj (Ram Charan Teja), an orphan adopted by a drunkard father (MS Narayana) and a doting homebound mother (Sudha). He earns his living by accepting challenges and winning outrageous bets. Once he takes up a bet with James (Ajmal) and wins the race by a whisker. Soon, Raj's father is diagnosed with liver sclerosis and the doctors say he needs a liver transplant costing 20 lakhs to live. <a name="more"></a> James comes to Raj's help, but he need to win a bet. James challenges Raj to win the heart of Chaitra (Tamannaah), daughter of a mafia don Ballari (Mukhesh Rushi). Raj accepts it for the prize money which will help him save his ailing stepfather. He has to get her to say "I love you" to him under a month to win the bet. Raju starts wooing Chaitra and but soon, things turn nothing what it seems like. He realizes there is more than his father's life at stake here. Ram Charan Teja does a decent job of playing a complete mass character for the first time. However, his performance does not make us go wow! He tries hard nevertheless. He has experimented new dance steps and his performances for the title song and other tracks like ‘Dillaku dillaku...’ and ‘Singareni undi...’ are impressive. However, his dialogue modulation is not up to the mark. Tamannaah has nothing to do apart from providing the glamour quotient. Other artistes including Dev Gill, Mukesh Rushi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam did justice to their roles. Nasser and Parthiban appear in guest roles. The first half of Racha is entertaining with love and romantic track. The real story unfolds in the second half, and it is full of action and revenge drama. But the problem is that the storyline is too familiar for us and rehashed from films down the decades. At some places, the film lacks logic too. For instance, when Raj and Chaitra are on the run, they enter into a bamboo forest in China where they are attacked by the Chinese! This fight was not much of a value addition except to show that the filmmakers went all the way to China to shoot. The stunt sequences are another big let-down. There are too many of them, but none that really stand out. Though the story is quite predictable, the ability of the director made it quite interesting. Especially, the way he penned the screenplay has to be appreciated. Mani Sharma has given excellent tunes to all the songs and the remix song ‘Vana vana....’ The choreography of songs too is worth praising. Cinematography by Sameer Reddy is good and editing by Gauthamraju is adequate. Dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers are aimed at masses. All in all, Racha follows the age old formula of a revenge drama along with a love story. This potboiler is meant for the masses, especially Charan's fans, and for others, Rachha offers nothing. </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">After the average performances of his two back-to-back films, young Tollywood hero Jr. NTR is back with another mass masala flick Dammu, directed by Boyapati Srinu, well-known for his mass entertainers. Notably, the director has three back-to-back hits in his kitty and so, Jr. NTR is pinning high hopes on the film. As anticipated, the film has all mass elements to satisfy the Jr. NTR fans. Seemingly based on Rajinikanth starrer Adutha Varisu (1983), the film begins with the conflict between two families led by Nasser and Suman (Vasi Reddy). They kill each other to get the authority of a village and in the conflict, all Vasi Reddy family members die, thereby making Nasser the uncontested rogue and villain. After twenty-five years, Veera Durgam (Kota) adopts an orphan Vijay (Jr. NTR) and introduces him as 'Vijaya Dwaja Simha', a successor to Vasi Reddy family. With this, the story takes a turn. How Vijya takes the responsibility of saving the villagers from the villain forms the rest of the film. <a name="more"></a> Jr. NTR once again proves that among the current generation of actors, there is none to match him in terms of dialogue delivery and performance. He is simply superb and his performance makes a lot of difference to an otherwise regular masala drama. Trisha and Karthika are the heroines and they don’t have much scope to perform. Trisha looks older and lacks chemistry with Jr. NTR. Karthika too has limited songs and scenes. Nasser is good in his villain role, while Kota is usual. Bhanupriya, Venu Tottampudi, Praveena and Abhinaya are impressive. Coming to the technical part of the film, there are too many ups and downs in the narration especially during the second half and climax. The director could have written a better screenplay. However, Jr. NTR’s roaring performance transcends everything. Rathnam has written apt dialogues for Jr. NTR and they are sounded effective in the actor's voice. Music by M.M. Keeravani is in sync with the subject. The songs 'O Lilly' and 'Vasthu babgundi' are well picturized, but 'Ruler' disappoints. Cinematography by Arthur Wilson is worth mentioning. All in all, Dammu has the centuries old formula of Tollywood action movies: from good dialogues to high voltage fight sequences and for Jr. NTR fans, the movie would be a treat. But for common audiences, it is another masala drama that offers nothing new. </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Director Harish Shankar's Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh needs no intro! Everything that we supposed to know about it has already been said or publicized, so let's go straight into the review. Gabbar Singh is larger than life, made by a self-proclaimed fan (Harish Shankar) of the actor to please the humungous Pawan Kalyan fans. Increasingly, the film is made keeping the hero's image and fans in mind and Harish's work is more of an adaptation than a frame-to-frame remake of Dabangg. After the initial few minutes, you stop comparing Gabbar Singh with Dabangg and therein lies its success. We know the story. It revolves around Venkatrathnam Naidu (Pawan Kalyan), whose father died when he was three years old and his mother (played by Suhasini) marries Nagineedu. The couple has a kid (Ajay). The young Venkatrathnam takes a liking to the iconic villain of Bollywood film Sholay and calls himself Gabbar Singh. He grows up seeing his little step brother bask in the love and affection, showered by the stepfather, and eventually runs away only to return as a cop. <a name="more"></a> Still hated by his brother (Ajay) and stepfather (Nagineedu), Gabbar Singh takes up a posting in his native village Kondaveedu. He has his own rules and even doesn’t mind to release a bunch of thugs from the lock-up provided they are willing to comply with his rules. Later, Gabbar Singh gets in the ways of politically influential goon Siddhappa Naidu (Abhimanyu Singh) and he thwarts all moves of Siddhappa, who now wants revenge. Amidst all this, Gabbar Singh falls for the gorgeous Bhagyalakshmi (Shruti Haasan). There is nothing rave about the story. It is so simple and formulaic. Gabbar Singh is about the attitude of the hero and Pawan Kalyan simply rocks in that. He does one man show from start to end. His punch dialogues with his inimitable mannerism are superb. Shruthi Haasan is gorgeous and her performance as an innocent village belle is commendable, through she has a very small role to play. Abhimanyu Singh comes up with another memorable performance and others like Suhasini, Ali, Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Ajay and Kota Srinivasa Rao put in their best efforts. Gabbar Singh has the right dose of the staple ingredients -- action, comedy, romance, and songs, including an item number (Kevu Keka) performed by Malaika Arora Khan. Harish Shankar did many changes to Dabangg script and most of his changes work. Screenplay is racy in the first half and moves at a decent pace in the second hour. Seemingly, the second half drags a little bit in the penultimate scenes. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is the second hero after Pawan Kalyan. Every song is marvellous and Harish Shankar has shot all songs really well. Cinematography and Editing are impressive. All in all, Gabbar Singh is a complete film that will cater to all the sections especially Pawan Kalyan fans. </div>

And obviously that had made Saguni the most anticipated film in recent time. After all the film has hit screens with 1000 prints in Tamil, the highest ever for a Karthi's film. In Andhra alone, the film will release in 400 screens. Apparently the producers have spent more than 12 crores for the promotion of the film. <a name="more"></a> The film is Produced by Studio Green/Dream Warrior Pictures/Vendhar Movies and directed by Shankar Dayal N. So what is this hype and hoolah all about? The hilarious combo of Karthi and Santhanam is back after the blockbuster Siruthai. This is Karthi's first release after his marriage. The film also created headline for the lead character's screen name (Kamal-Rajni-Sridevi) and the change of villain at the last minute. The Plot: Kamalakkannan aka Kannan (Karthi) comes to Chennai with lots of hope and belief. He is on a mission to save his ancestral home, as the railways has grabbed their land to build subway. But in Chennai, he runs into trouble everytime. On his journey, he befriends Rajini Appadurai (Santhanam) an auto-driver who drives him all over the city. Kamal also meets his cousin Sridevi (Pranitha) and eventually falls in love with her. Then we have R K Boopathi (Prakashraj), the crooked Cheif Minister who is after money and creates chaos. Over the time Kamal turns into a street-smart rookie who, through his crooked yet intelligent moves, changes the fate of the state. So how will Kamal save his ancestral home? Watch out in Saguni... Perfomance & Techniques For Karthi, Saguni is definitely a cakewalk. He talks, walks and fights perfectly. He is introduced as a subtle innocent guy but soon he turns into a mastermind. Santhanam is the second hero and he comes up with an excellent one liner at the right time. Kannada actress Pranitha is gorgeous but unfortunately she doesn't have much to do. After a long gap, Radikaa plays a prominent role in this flick. Nasser as saamiyar is interesting. Kota Sreenivasa Rao and Roja have done their role well while Prakashraj is perfect. P.G. Muthiah's cinematography and Sreekar Prasad's editing works are neat and sleek. But G.V. Prakash's music could have been better. Director Shankar Dayal has used the first half to narrate the problem while the solution is narrated in the second half. Overall Saguni is a neat entertainer with the right amount of masala and humour. </div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">If you were looking to have a fun filled weekend, the cinema hall is one place you shouldn’t miss going to, because of Nani's Eega. The film has been creating headlines ever since its launch either for being Magadheera director Rajamouli’s most ambitious project till date or being a big budget fantasy flick made with a whopping budget of Rs.40 crores, of which Rs. 5 crores are being spent exclusively on visual effects. The film, which has graced theatres with a massive 1200 prints, is made simultaneously in Tamil (Naan Ee) with Samantha, Nani and Sudeep in prominent roles. And finally here comes a most-hyped and well-shrouded-in-mystery, revenge story film project that took over a year and half in the making. <a name="more"></a> What is it about: Have you ever heard the quirky story of a lover, who goes on a mission to take revenge in the form of a house fly? Read on... It is in fact an experimental film with mainstream emotions. Storyline: The story of Eega is nothing new to us, in fact Rajamouli is one of few directors who has the courage to reveal the storyline of the film even before its release, such is his courage and confidence on the script. Coming back to story, there are three main characters in the film and interestingly Nani and Sudeep have used their own names on screen too... Sudeep (Sudeep) is a multi millionaire businessman who always likes to travel on the wrong routes which is simple and tricky. Big business deal and women are his weakness; he is one man who wants to achieve everything he has wished for and he goes to any extend, sometimes by killing his own wife and friend for business deals. He sets his eyes on Bindhu (Samantha), a miniature sculpture artist and social worker. Bindhu is secretly in love with Nani (Nani), who is mad about her. Like many women, Bindhu hides her love and pretends to ignore Nani. When Sudeep finds out Bindhu's love for Nani, he goes mad and decides to finish him (Nani) off. Nani is murdered and Bindhu is heart-broken. He is then reborn as ‘Eega’ (housefly) who remembers the incidents that took place in his last birth. How will Eega takes his revenge on the villain forms the rest of the story. Thumbs Up for: 1. Rajamouli's bold attempt: One of the most talked about movies in recent times Eega is expected to create a new revolution in Indian cinema. And kudos to taskmaster Rajamouli for his creativity and brave effort. 2. Visual Extravaganza: In deed a visual treat for film buffs! It is interesting to see the usage of special effects in the right way without any over dose. How can a housefly take revenge? Well, you will have to watch Eega to get the answer! It’s a never-seen-before in Indian cinema where an insect behaves in such a realistic fashion. Though the film is a fantasy entertainer, it also has the right blend of love, sentiment and of course humour. This is one film which will definitely take Indian cinema (especially Tollywood) to greater heights. Eega has 90 minutes of visual extravaganza and never-seen-before animated effects. Kudos to Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, who has produced theTelugu version of the film. The man behind the technology component is Pete Draper, Co-Founder of Makuta Effects, with about 20 years of experience in this space and has worked in films like Magadheera, Ghajini, Enthiran and 7 Aum Arivu. 3. The Sudeep Factor: Coming to the star cast, the film belongs to Sudeep, one of the top actors in Kannada cinema. He is also well established as a director but he had no qualms in accepting the role of a villain. This is definitely one film which can be written down in his diary as once-in-a-lifetime special role. Such an intense role, he has performed it with ease and perfection. His expressions, Kannda-influenced-Tamil and body language is definitely a treat to watch. 4. Good Casting: Interestingly, it is a ‘fly’ which is the hero in this live-action animation (LAA) film. The USP of the film is the Tom & Jerry act between the villain and the fly! The on screen pairing of Samantha and Nani is fresh and sizzling! Though Nani appears only in the first half, he impresses us with his perfect comedy timing and one liners. After a power packed performance in Veppam, Nani makes another powerful statement with Eega. Samantha is pretty and fits the bill perfectly. This is the first time that Samantha is doing a movie where the focus is more on her rather than the hero! Ways to go Sam! Aditya and Santhanam also needs a special mention for their interesting act, though they appears only in few scenes they make a mark. 5. The Technical Brilliance: Three cheers for Rajamouli for choosing the right technical team. Crazy Mohan's hilarious dialogues (he also makes a special appearance in the film), racy screenplay by Rajamouli - Janardhan Maharshi, Keeravani's foot thumping music (with the song 'Eedaa Eedaa' and 'Lava Lava' standing out), K. K. Senthil Kumar's colourful camera works and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's sleek editing. VERDICT: Fun, full-pelt fantasy entertainment! Book your tickets, grab the popcorn, Eega is a perfect watch for this weekend! Dont miss this visual extravaganza! </div>
